Section 8 Company (Non-Profit) Incorporation Guide
Registering a company dedicated to social, educational, or charitable objectives.
A Section 8 Company is a non-profit entity formed with the sole "main objective" of promoting commerce, art, science, education, research, social welfare, religion, charity, or environmental protection. It operates under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) but has a key restriction: It cannot distribute profits (dividends) to its members. Any income must be used to further its objectives.

This section outlines the key documentation required from clients at different stages of a Private Limited Company's lifecycle.
Documentation for Incorporation
The ideal structure for solo entrepreneurs seeking limited liability and full control.
The **One Person Company (OPC)** was introduced in India through the Companies Act, 2013, providing a legitimate and structured way for a single entrepreneur to operate a business with **limited liability**. This means the personal assets of the sole owner are legally protected from the company's debts. It essentially combines the full control of a sole proprietorship with the corporate protection of a private limited company, making it a popular choice for startups and micro-businesses.
