Public Charitable Trust Registration Guide
Formalizing an organization under the Indian Trusts Act.
A Public Charitable Trust is created when an author (Settlor) transfers property to a Trustee(s) for the benefit of the public. This structure is often used for running schools, hospitals, or large-scale religious/charitable endowments. The key document is the Trust Deed, which acts as the charter defining the objectives, powers, and rules.

Draft the Trust Deed
Prepare the Deed specifying the name, objective, details of the Settlor and Trustees, and the initial corpus fund (the small amount of money transferred to the Trust).
Execution and Stamp Duty Payment
The Settlor and Trustees must sign the Deed in the presence of witnesses. The appropriate **stamp duty** must be paid on the document as per the state's Stamp Act.
File with the Sub-Registrar
Submit the signed and stamped Trust Deed, along with identity proofs of the Settlor and Trustees, to the local Sub-Registrar's Office for official registration.
Obtain Trust PAN/TAN & Bank Account
Apply for a permanent PAN and TAN in the name of the Trust using the registered Trust Deed. Use these documents to open a bank account in the Trust's name.

Accurate and timely documentation is the backbone of Private Limited Company compliance and smooth operations in India. Whether you're incorporating a new company or managing annual filings, having the right documents prepared is crucial. This section outlines the key documentation required from clients at different stages of a Private Limited Company's lifecycle.
Documentation for Incorporation
The ideal structure for solo entrepreneurs seeking limited liability and full control.
The **One Person Company (OPC)** was introduced in India through the Companies Act, 2013, providing a legitimate and structured way for a single entrepreneur to operate a business with **limited liability**. This means the personal assets of the sole owner are legally protected from the company's debts. It essentially combines the full control of a sole proprietorship with the corporate protection of a private limited company, making it a popular choice for startups and micro-businesses.
