Public Charitable Trust Registration Guide
Registering the most traditional structure for charity, education, and welfare.
A Public Charitable Trust is primarily governed by the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, or state-specific Public Trust Acts (e.g., in Maharashtra, Gujarat). It is used to hold assets (money, property) for a charitable purpose managed by a group of Trustees. It is simpler to register than a Section 8 Company but requires local registration.

Draft and Execute the Trust Deed
The deed must be drafted, printed on appropriate non-judicial stamp paper, and signed by the Settlor (creator) and all Trustees in the presence of two witnesses.
Submit to Sub-Registrar
The executed Trust Deed, along with photocopies of IDs and address proofs of the Settlor, Trustees, and witnesses, must be submitted to the local Sub-Registrar for registration.
Apply for PAN & Open Bank Account
Once the registered Trust Deed is received, apply for a permanent PAN Card in the name of the Trust. Use the PAN and Deed to open a dedicated bank account.
Apply for $12A$ & $80G$ Certification
To ensure tax exemption on the Trust's income ($12A$) and enable donors to claim tax deductions ($80G$), mandatory applications must be filed with the Income Tax Department.

Client Documentation Requirements
Accurate and timely documentation is the backbone of Private Limited Company compliance and smooth operations in India. Whether you're incorporating a new company or managing annual filings, having the right documents prepared is crucial. This section outlines the key documentation required from clients at different stages of a Private Limited Company's lifecycle.
Documentation for Incorporation
The ideal structure for solo entrepreneurs seeking limited liability and full control.
The **One Person Company (OPC)** was introduced in India through the Companies Act, 2013, providing a legitimate and structured way for a single entrepreneur to operate a business with **limited liability**. This means the personal assets of the sole owner are legally protected from the company's debts. It essentially combines the full control of a sole proprietorship with the corporate protection of a private limited company, making it a popular choice for startups and micro-businesses.
